About Charlie

A well-known and highly respected figure across Auckland, Charlie Brothers has built a reputation as one of the region’s top-performing and most trusted real estate professionals. With deep roots in the community and a genuine passion for helping people, Charlie has become a go-to name for buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Manurewa, Clendon Park, Weymouth, Randwick Park, Papakura, and the wider Auckland area.

Born and raised in the Cook Islands before making Manukau home in 1986, Charlie brings a strong sense of community, humility, and work ethic to everything he does. Since joining the high-performing Ray White Manukau team in 2018, he has consistently delivered exceptional results, quickly establishing himself among the top-performing agents in the country. Today, he ranks within the top 1% of Ray White agents internationally and among the top Ray White agents in New Zealand.

Known for his relentless drive, approachable nature, and ability to build genuine relationships, Charlie combines high-level performance with a down-to-earth personality that clients instantly connect with. His background in coaching elite sport — including Premier League football and New Zealand representative tag teams — has helped shape his leadership, communication, and people skills, all of which translate naturally into real estate.

Charlie has developed a particularly strong reputation within the investment property space, with many investors regularly turning to him for advice, strategy, and guidance. His extensive local knowledge, combined with years of hands-on market experience, allows him to provide practical, honest advice tailored to each client’s goals.

Having lived in South Auckland for more than 30 years, Charlie is deeply connected to the communities he works within. Beyond real estate, he has remained actively involved in the area through coaching, mentoring, and serving on his children’s school Board of Trustees in Papatoetoe.

Professional, driven, trustworthy, and highly respected, Charlie prides himself on always following through on what he says he will do. His strong communication, integrity, and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for his clients are the reasons so many people continue to work with him time and time again.

Backed by Team Charlie Brothers and the award-winning Ray White Manukau office, Charlie continues to set the benchmark for real estate success across Auckland.

Questions

The things sellers ask Charlie first.

Is the appraisal really free?
Yes — there's no cost and no obligation. Charlie will walk you through what your property could achieve, based on recent local sales and current buyer demand.
What happens after I submit the form?
Charlie will be in touch personally, usually within a business day, to arrange a time that suits you — over the phone or in person at your property.
Am I committing to anything?
No. An appraisal is information, not a commitment — there's no obligation to list with Charlie, and none to sell at all. Plenty of people ask for one simply to understand where the market sits before deciding anything.
What's the difference between an appraisal and a valuation?
An appraisal is provided free by a licensed salesperson and reflects what the market is likely to pay right now. A registered valuation is a paid, formal assessment by an independent registered valuer, and is what banks and courts rely on. Most people selling a home need an appraisal; a valuation is usually only needed for lending or legal reasons.
