Freemans Bay is an inner-city suburb directly west of the Auckland CBD, named after a bay that was filled in between 1873 and 1901 to create Victoria Park. Freemans Bay School is the local state primary, and its published home zone runs down the centre of Ponsonby Road and College Hill and takes in the streets on the city side of them. Auckland Girls’ Grammar School is in the suburb, on Howe Street. No Freemans Bay streets are on the Auckland Grammar School or Epsom Girls Grammar School zone lists. Zones run street by street, so always check the exact address.
